Or, perhaps
he was just acting. I would see him walking other times there
with Stewart Granger who lived in the high rise across the street.
Eugene Sonnenfelt Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15250028612917046372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006108502645191096.post-78217409834199524112017-11-11T04:06:58.532-05:002017-11-11T04:06:58.532-05:00Very enjoyable piece. Sometime compare a photo of Henry Daniell with one of Hope Emerson. autolycoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07584646178086665858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006108502645191096.post-49713076907012277372017-02-08T11:04:04.952-05:002017-02-08T11:04:04.952-05:00I cannot begin to imagine what led to your comment...I cannot begin to imagine what led to your comment(s) here. I never said that Henry Daniell got "better" parts because men were involved in WWI, but if you think that in the male-heavy realm of theatre that it didn't make getting a job easier in London when 6-million English males were enlisted (and 700,000 were killed, then you're just too ignorant to converse with.) In any case, he may not have been a "great" character actor at the very dawn of his stage career. His extraordinary talent was likely built over time. As to his sexuality, I merely reported the FACT that there was speculation about it, not that he was involved in anything for certain. This is an in-depth TRIBUTE to Henry Daniell, fair and heavily-researched, and doesn't warrant your coming here and trying to downgrade it. One guy wrote about seeing him in downtown LA and the press latched onto it because people would rather believe bad stuff than good things. For example there is NO evidence Walt Disney hated Jew's (he had many Jewish friends) yet the press ran with it. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15055708058655393398noreply@blogger.com
