So precious. (There was another huge dog movie after, "Marley and Me" that I didn't see... I am severely allergic to Jennifer Aniston.) Strangely enough, "Skip" had Luke Wilson in it and "Marley" had his brother Owen! I had a friend who was always recommending "It Happened on 5th Avenue" yet I still have never seen it!! However you left out two dogs that I always remember. I was surprised that you didn't list- My dog Skip (2000), especially, just Old Yeller, he's in the title. The other more obscure dog from a movie I watch at Christmas time is- It Happened on Fifth Avenue (1947). Victor Moore's character Aloysius T. McKeever has a dog named Corky, portrayed by Sammy. Otherwise, I really appreciate your post on this subject.
